Holi: the magical festival of colors in India.
Holi is originally a religious festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, the end of winter, a bountiful harvest, and the blooming of love. For many, it is a day to meet people, laugh, forget and forgive, and to restore broken relationships.

Thanks to this beautiful tradition, Powdershoots are colorful photoshoots with often breathtaking results. These are perfect for a print. Make that empty wall the eye-catching feature of your interior!

Dog-friendly
The powder is dog-friendly. The Holi powder used for this shoot is made primarily from natural materials like cornstarch, colored with food dye. It contains no toxic substances and does not cause skin irritation.
Come prepared.
For the photo, the dog will need to jump over a stick a few times. In active photography, it's usually the first few jumps that result in the best photos. The trick is to complete the shoot with as few jumps as possible. For the best results, it’s wise to start practicing with your dog to jump over a stick, so you can make the most of your shoot.
Clean dogs afterwards
After the shoot, you can use a water blower on-site to clean your dog. Only a small amount of powder will remain in the fur, which won't cause much trouble at home.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

No, but improper use can be unhealthy and uncomfortable for your dog. Therefore, do not do these shoots with inexperienced photographers!

The powder is made from cornmeal with food coloring or cosmetic dye, so it’s made from pet-friendly materials.

The argument against the safety of the powder is that it contains fine dust particles. This argument is correct. Inhaling fine dust is never healthy, even if it comes from cornmeal. The real danger lies with photographers who don’t think about the safe use of the powder and apply it to the dog’s face. This leads to dogs getting large amounts of powder in their eyes and nose. Imagine this: would you like to have your face thrown at with cornmeal?

That’s why during the shoot, we make sure that NO powder is applied to the face, at most only to the lower neck. We also ensure that the dog always runs away from the dust cloud, and after the shoot, the dog is blow-dried with a water blower. This way, most of the dust is avoided and your dog and you won’t suffer from it.

As a result, there have been no health complaints from clients after a shoot so far.
