The right moment lasts only 0.05 seconds and occurs only once per action.

Actually, I'm quite the nerd. Technology, scooters, cars, motorcycles – and also cameras. Knowing exactly how things work is something I find super interesting. Understanding and choosing the right equipment is essential when movement is involved. You really have to get the most out of your camera to succeed.
There are many theories about what works and what doesn't. Over time, I've developed my own thoughts on the matter. A theory only becomes a fact when it's proven. That's why I constantly test these theories in my work. Experience shows that when something works, the conclusion is often incredibly simple. As a result, a style and way of working has emerged, driven by facts, logic, and conscious choices. This means that everything I do can be supported with simple, practical information.
Many of the photographers who attend the workshop have had the desire to create action shots for years. They invest in beautiful equipment, yet somehow, it just doesn’t work out. Then they come to the workshop. We start from the basics and build up slowly. It’s just a matter of time before the first ones cheer for their first successful shot. Not long after, the rest follow, and by the end of the day, everyone goes home with awesome action photos. Photos they've taken themselves, and can truly be proud of.
The joy the participants have about their photos

The enjoyment I get from action photography, I wish for everyone! I'm not known for my serious work attitude, so be prepared for a fair amount of silly chatter and corny jokes.
During my workshops, you'll be challenged, sometimes thrown in at the deep end, but always supported when you need it.
Did you know that I am a certified practical trainer? In my previous job, I had the opportunity to take on this role, training young metalworkers to become CNC machine operators, just like photography, a craft and complex profession. So, you're in good hands with me.
