For me, it was an exciting and educational webinar. I think it was great to get an insight into your camera equipment and how to use the different photo editing programs. It gave me some tools and knowledge that I could use in a photo situation. It also helped me a lot that Chris was good at explaining, especially in the webinar where he explains about the different photo editing programs. I think it was nice that you could follow along even if you only used Photoshop.

I didn\u2019t have much experience with dog action photo. But after the webinar I got the courage to try. I slowly started practicing on my dog, with taking action photos. Gradually I could see how my photos got better and I became more confident in taking action photos. When I became more confident, I decided to seek out people who had agility dogs.

I have now taken pictures for agility training and have been there twice. I have been told that the dog owners have been really happy with their pictures.

I am happy that I can use the knowledge and tools that I have gained from the webinar. In my photographic development

Always being impressed by seeing photos of dogs in action, when this webinar came up, I didn't hesitate a second.

Fully motivated chris exceeded my expectations! The classes about camera settings & equipment were a complete game changer and helped to get straightaway greater results!

Throughout the webinars I've learned a lot of tricks to get the results I expected. I am now proudly offering action photos as a part of a photography session for my clients and they (&me) love the results! It's always worthwhile to invest in workshops & webinars to improve your skills, get inspired & motivated to try something new.

I haven't been taking that many action photos yet, but I feel like I know what to think about when I finally take the time to do it, at least more than I did before.
The webinars are filled with lots of useful information about everything from safety and angles when photographing to how lenses work and editing.
I really enjoyed all the episodes, but I think I felt like the equipment episode was a bit heavy with information. I think the last episode was one of my favorites, it's interesting to see how other people work in photoshop and fun to see the photo coming together.

Overall very good, I would recommend them to anyone who wants to improve and understand more about action photography.

Chris is a great teacher with good humor. The webinar is very professionally designed and you learn a lot. Many examples explain the craft and you can apply it to your own pictures. The webinar is built up piece by piece and so you are not overwhelmed. If you want to learn about action photography, this is the right place for you.

Last year, there was an incredibly cool webinar series by Chris Riel in collaboration with Emily from Inspawrationschool, in which everything revolved around action photography with dogs. Chris explained everything from A to Z during his webinars. I admire his extensive knowledge, from the technical aspects of cameras and lenses to the practical execution of taking action photos. Thanks to this series, I learned a lot and my action photos have improved significantly.

What especially stuck with me is the so-called T-rex pose. I was incredibly happy with a photo I had taken, and by coincidence, one of the subsequent webinars by Chris was about exactly this topic. He explained that the T-rex pose captures the moment when the dog\u2019s legs are still retracted, like a T-rex, instead of fully extended. This was a NO GO for him. Coincidentally, I had taken such a photo, but since then, I know exactly the right moment to capture. In addition to this valuable tip, there are many more insights that I will definitely take with me in my photography.

After the webinars, taking action photos has become much easier for me. I now know exactly which settings to use and how to ensure the dog assumes the correct position.

Moreover, I find it a fun addition to vary during a photo session and keep it interesting and fun for the dog. Taking action photos is therefore not only educational but also a pleasant experience for both the photographer and the dog!

The webinars were super informative, engaging, and well-structured from the start, and they definitely helped me improve my action photography skills.

I learned new techniques and tips that made a noticeable difference. Plus, the webinars inspired me to try out new approaches, and I'm really proud of the results I've achieved. I found the 5th episode particularly exciting and full of valuable information.

Chris was a fantastic teacher! He explained everything clearly and made even complex topics easy to understand. I can only recommend him!

This year, I\u2019ve had an incredible experience learning dog action photography from Chris. Two years ago, I was captivated by his amazing dog action pictures on social media and was determined to improve my own work.

When I discovered Poetry In Motion available online, I was thrilled to learn from him without the hassle of traveling to Europe. We had live Zoom sessions every two months, and Chris is an exceptional instructor. He\u2019s friendly, patient, and always ready to answer our questions and provide detailed explanations about dog action photography.

From camera gear and settings to shooting techniques and editing skills, Chris covers everything I could have ever wanted to know. The course was meticulously planned throughout the year, ensuring that we had ample time between sessions to practice. I\u2019ve learned so much from this course that I can easily apply it to other types of dog photography.
